This documentation Mini Lesson is available in two formats.
~In this format, the course materials will be sent to you via a google drive link within 24 hours. You will be able to access the materials on the google drive and submit your exam via e-mail, fax or mail. The certificate will be emailed to you, with hard copy mailed.
~The second format is the E-Learning format where you will be able to access your course materials immediately, complete the program on line and print out your certificate after successfully passing the exam.
This program is approved for 3 continuing education hours through the National Certification Program for Activity Professionals.
The CE hours are applicable toward initial certification as well as toward renewal.
Objectives:
~Participant will define the therapeutic process as it relates to documentation in long term care.
~Participant will identify the different requirements associated with documentation, including the initial assessment, care plan and progress notes.
~Participant will be able to define the difference between the RAI, the MDS and the CAAs.
~The participant will be able to define the difference between a problem or need and a goal and the interventions.
To gain three continuing education hours for this program – complete the pre-test, read the Documentation Mini Lessons and pass the post test:
