Course Requirements : Take the provided pretest, read the class materials and take the provided post test.
All class materials are located in a Google classroom. They can be downloaded and completed at your own pace.
You may mail, email or fax your completed post test to DH Special Services. Once the materials are received and a passing grade is determined, a scanned copy of your certificate will be e-mailed to you with a hard copy mailed.
Course Content: The reading will introduce the activity professional to the individualized concept of programming, based on need and interest of the elderly resident. A wide variety of activities will be discussed, including programs for the high and lower functioning resident. Specific programs to meet specific needs and interests will also be outlined and explained.
