Course Requirements : Take the provided pretest, read the online book “The Reminiscing Activities Training Manual” and take the provided post test.
You may e-mail, mail or fax your materials to DH Special Services. Once the materials are received and a passing grade of 70 is determined, your certificate will be e-mailed with a hard copy mailed to you.
Course Content: This program introduces the importance and benefits of reminiscing with older adults. It provides practical information relating to organizing a reminiscing program, utilizing a variety of techniques and approaches. The program reviews methods to introduce reminiscing with all levels of functioning elders through adaptation and special approaches.
