Documentation Skills Mini Lesson
NCCAP Approved 3 Hours
Course Content: The reading will provide the participant with an introduction and summary of the documentation process. The purpose, requirements and current standards related to documentation for the activity/recreation professional in long term care will be defined. A basic overview of assessment, care planning and progress review are introduced and outlined.
Course Requirements : Take the provided pretest; read the mini lesson “Documentation Skills ” by Debbie Hommel, ACC, CTRS; take the provided post test and complete the Documentation Skills Word Find. You may e-mail, mail or fax your completed materials to DH Special Services. Once the materials are received and a passing grade is determined, your certificate will be mailed to you. If you are in need of the certificate sooner, a copy can be faxed to you and the original mailed.
