Course Requirements : Take the provided pretest, read the book “Dementia Care Programming : An Identity Focused Approach” by Rosemary Dunn, and take the provided post test..
You may mail or fax your materials to DH Special Services. Once the materials are received and a passing grade is determined, your certificate will be mailed to you. If you are in need of the certificate sooner,
a copy can be faxed to you and the original mailed.

Course Content: This program introduces the concept of identify focused care which emphases focusing in the unique needs of the individual resident and techniques which truly respond to the individual as a person.
