Lewy Body Dementia Basics is approved for two continuing education hours.
Lewy Body Dementia Basics materials are available online via a google classroom.
All materials will be accessible on the google classroom and once you submit your course materials via email, fax or hard copy, your certificate is e-mailed to you with hard copy mailed.
Course Content: The program will provide a general overview of Lewy Body Dementia, symptoms, initial treatment strategies and non-pharmacological approaches.
Course Objectives:
Participant will be able to define the changes to the brain which distinguishes Lewy Body Dementia from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Participant will define three symptoms specific to Lewy Body Dementia.
Participant will identify the positive and negative responses to medication administered for Lewy Body Dementia.
Participant will define three communication skills the person can practice for improved communication with those living with Lewy Body Dementia.
Participant will describe three non-pharmacological approaches for persons living with Lewy Body Dementia.
