Frontotemporal Dementia Basics is approved for two continuing education hours.
Frontotemporal Dementia Basics materials are available online via a google classroom.
All materials will be accessible on the google classroom. You will be able to download the materials to your device.
Once you submit your final test documents via email, fax or USPS, your certificate is e-mailed to you with hard copy mailed.
Course Content: The program will provide a general overview of Frontotemporal Dementia, symptoms, initial treatment strategies and non-pharmacological approaches.
Course Objectives:
Participant will be able to define the changes to the brain which distinguishes Frontotemporal Dementia from Alzheimer’s Disease.
Participant will define three symptoms specific to Frontotemporal Dementia.
Participant will define three communication skills the person can practice for improved communication with those living with Frontotemporal Dementia.
Participant will describe three non-pharmacological approaches for persons living with Frontotemporal Dementia.
