Welcome to DH Special Services E Learning Program.
This program is approved for three continuing education hours through the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals. These hours are applicable toward new certifications or renewal.
This Documentation Mini Lesson will provide the participant with an introduction and summary of the therapeutic documentation process. The purpose, requirements and current standards related to documentation for the activity/recreation professional in long term care will be defined.
Objectives:
~Participant will define the therapeutic process as it relates to documentation in long term care.
~Participant will identify the different requirements associated with documentation, including the initial assessment, care plan and progress notes.
~Participant will be able to define the difference between the RAI, the MDS and the CAAs.
~The participant will be able to define the difference between a problem or need and a goal and the interventions.
