Course Content: This program introduces the definition of adaptation as it applies to therapeutic activities along with specific ways to adapt for success.
Course Requirements:
Take the required pre-test
Watch 15 Minute video: ABCs of Adaptation
Read three articles: Adapting for Success, B is for Bingo and Task Breakdown
Complete the case study worksheet
Explore Adaptation page on Pinterest
Complete post-test
All items will be accessible via a google drive classroom link.
This program would lend itself to a departmental in-service. Departmental staff can complete the readings individually, watch the video together and complete the case studies as a group. Contact DH Special Services for the per person in-service fee. Each participant would receive a certificate.
