Course Requirements : Read the book Activities 101 by ROS Therapy Systems (which much be purchased separately – it is NOT included with this course) and complete the accompanying test, worksheets and case studies.  Once you purchase the program, the accompanying materials will be sent via a Google Drive link.  The book is not included and is not available through DH Special Services.

The Book Activities 101 can be purchased from Amazon. 

You may mail, e-mail or fax your materials to DH Special Services. Once the materials are received and a passing grade is determined, your certificate will be e-mailed to you with a hard copy mailed vis USPS.

This course is the required training program for the NCCAP Home Care Certification and can also be used for the Home Care specialization for those who are already NCCAP certified. Adding the Home Care Specialization to your current NCCAP certification will add to your professional expertise.

Course Content: This course is designed for the home care worker or the beginning activity professional. The reading of the book – Activities 101 along with the completion of the work sheets and case studies will introduce an understanding of aging, communication with the elderly, the purpose of activities and the scope of activities which are introduced based on individual needs. The course is a component of the HCC, developed by NCCAP and can be used toward the HCC specialization.
