Stonebridge at Montgomery is seeking an Activities Assistant to assist in organizing, developing and directing all activities for groups or individuals to meet the needs of the residents. Assist the Director in planning, organizing and implementing therapeutic activities. Prepare supplies, lists of participants and schedules for each activity. Escort residents to and from groups. Conduct group activities. Keep a daily record of types and number of activities in which each resident participated. Attend all scheduled educational offerings pertaining to Patient Activities and Resident Care. Encourage residents to participate in activities of choice. Take residents for wheelchair rides and walks when able; Assist with outings. Other duties related to the essential function of the job as assigned by management.
There are openings for full time assistants.
Experience: experience working with seniors in a healthcare setting helpful.
